I've used ESP primer and didn't need to sand before or after - just a quick wipe over (before) to make sure there's no dust on the furniture.
Try it - not cheap, but works well.Normal people worry me.0 -
I've been chivvied into popping on here to show you my two sofas that I have just finished - only I can't figure out how to post pictures. Yup!!! can work a sewing machine, overlocker, biscuit jointer and router but still stumped by all things techie.

Just another long time lurker who loves this thread! It has inspired me to revamp quite a few pieces of old furniture I had in our flat. I bought some Farrow and Ball paint on people's recommendations too. Love it.
