Seems pretty cheap to me - you'd be doing quite well to get the cotton fabric for that price, I think

First post on this thread so sorry if I don't get it right:)
I love shabby chic stuff and didn't even know that there was a thread dedicated to this. :(
Just put up my new curtains (made from 1.00 per metre material I spotted on the grabbit last year) and need hold backs. I have been trying to think of a way to make cream shabby chic holdbacks, you know the kind that the curtain just sits at the side. Normally it sits out about 6 inches from the wall with a decorative front. Is this the right place to ask if anyone creative out there has any suggestions?
Can't wait to go back and read through the whole thread, but that might take me some time:) TIA

Wow Meames, lucky finds! The cupboard looks great, look forwards to seeing the chair made over.

We (by which I mean OH & my Dad!) finally got the floor laid in the living room today and the furniture re-arranged. Need to find some pretty bits to make it a bit more SC now!

The sofa is OH's and wouldn't be my choice, but I've been eyeing up some lovely cushions to shabby it up a bit on the Laura Ashley site. I'm hoping I can find cheaper versions or maybe I'll get off my bum and make my own :)

Has anyone seen anything similar for a lower price?

    These are nice

    Evening all,

Glorious day here in Cardiff again apparently raining tommorow :( Today i have finally started and nearly finished my table and chairs, just need to get some danish oil and more sandpaper and it will be finished tommorow.

I popped into dunelm over the weeknd and eyed up some lovely sage green polka dot blinds, some really nice fabric in oil cloth and normal so will be popping in to get some when have more availible £'s!

I am currently looking to learn to knit - have seen some beautiful cushions in Allsaints but at £80 - £150 i'll be having budget ones!
