    morning all!

shysarah - hope you get some pain relief at the hospital x x

day off today - got to wait in for a man to come and collect some pigeons, not a clue what time he's coming. Want to make some apple crumbles - didn't get time yesterday.
Went to Morrisons and spent a huge amount of money:mad: when I had planned a small shop. Am annoyed withmyself. I did take a list but DH came too and he doesn't exactly help. Must do better. Especially after starting to read Memorygirls Diary. Thanks to sistercas for recommending it:T

Have had a tidy up and a quick vac. Washing on line. Sunny but freezing here. Got my fleecy gillet on. No heating yet - will just rely on my wheatbags for now.

hope everyone has a good day x

  • Morning.

{{{hugs}}} for Shysarah, hopefully you are getting sorted by now honey.
Packups done, dogs fed and watered - she was exhausted after her big trek yesterday poor soul and slept from 7pm last night right through til 8 this morning.

Plan for the day, OH and I are off to Ikea. No doubt we will fall out, as a trip there is always fraught :rotfl: and he hasn't slept as he's just in from work, but its his choice to come, he's not working tonight and thinks he'll just sleep this afternoon! I just fancied a day out! :D

I don't know if I should say but Bombay Duck are doing free postage just now, there's a code on their Homepage. :)

Have a great day, hugs for all our poorlies, worried and the missing ladies too and Stroppyjock who is once again conspicuous by his absence!

    Morning all

Hope you get on ok at the hosp Sarah xx

Lovely and sunny here. Still feeling yuk, had dressing change by district nurse yesterday, oh my! today I have to go to local walk in centre to get it done, just as well OH took the rest of the week off as don't know how I would have managed to walk up there.

OH is cooking a chicken for tea tonight, although I don't feel like eating much.

He is also going to take me to the library this morning, Tesco order coming sometime this afternoon too, bet he will be glad to go back to work and get some rest :D

Have a good day everyone xx

    Morning all :D

Still full from dinner last night - was lovely we went to Chiquitos and I had lots of grub and cocktails :D

Bit of a shocker at work yesterday - they are closing our office but i still have a job at the other office it just means 15 miles each way a day instead of 3 miles and it means working in an office with 4 other women and I really don't like working with other women:rotfl: They have asked me to think about whether I want to carry on as I am, drop a day or take redundancy so I'm going to cost out going three days a week. DH is confident he can pick up the shortfall so i'm not stressing about it.

My parents, brother and sister and their partners got pack from a week in Cyprus last night (Dad paid for them all) but it seems life did not go well. I heard Dad's version last night as Mum had gone on a mission to see DS and DB to say her piece...which is very unlike DM so she must be really p!ssed at them!

I shall bask in the glory of being Number 1 for a while ;) and stay right out of it :D

Busy day MSing starting with breakfast :D:D Traaa

  • Morning all,

Well for dinner later we have leftovers from a roast yesterday, so bubble and squeak. Yum.

It's a bright slightly breezy day here so think I'll wash some bedding and that.

Picked up a couple of novels from the library yesterday - using the local library has to be one of the best OS/MSE things ever!

    Have a good day all.

Morning all..............................((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Shysarah it sounds as though your gall bladder might be infected, I am sure the hospital will sort you out. I was on pethedine for the pain for the 6 months I had to wait for my op. Hopefully you will get yours done quicker.

Its blooming cold here this morning, I have caved in and put the heating on for a short time in the moening and at night to make sure the bedrooms are warm before we go to bed, I can easily switch it off if it warms up. I really do not want to have to start wearing my thermals just yet.

Friday clean to do, so better get off and get started....cheers...............see y'all later

    Morning All

Just spoken to Jayward she thanks you for the messages/hugs/etc. Her temp is a little up so they are checking out she has not got an infection, but feels much better than yesterday (when she felt too ill to talk).

Shysarah- hope A&E sort you out. ((hugs))

coldstreamalways - I googled and found this

Well I got most of the washing done and dried yesterday, just need to strip the bed in the 'van and get that washed, then will be up to date and ready for the off again.:j:j

Off to town shortly, when DH & I get our bums in gear. DS is home for the weekend, to attend a party of a friend going to work in the US, and catch up with all his other friends, we have been warned it will be a flying visit, and not to plan anything around him.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Need to collect my prescription before we go to town, so had better go and have breakfast:o

:grouphug: to all who'd like one

    Hi everyone,

Another week's passed by without me managing to post. I can't believe we're nearly at the end of September. I'm looking forward to it though because DH and I are going to Corfu at the beginning of October. We went there for our honeymoon 31 years ago (on a Club 18-30 holiday, but that's another tale).

Hugs to anyone in need, especially all those undergoing tests, waiting for ops etc.

I've been reading memorygirl's diary as well - she has really made me think about my spending. In fact last night I told DH that I had changed my mind about the colour of the dining room we are decorating, we'll use up some paint we have so that I can re-hang the old curtains (so long as they don't fall apart when I wash them) and not buy new.

I made a huge SC of braising steak last night so I need to divide that up for the freezer. I also want to do an inventory of my store cupboards now i know what is in the freezer. I'm fed up with discovering things at the back of the cupboards that are out of date.

DD had 2 job interviews yesterday. She's busy with freelance jobs at the moment. She's got a number of men after her at the moment (she's beautiful with a lovely personality even though I say so myself) and has offers of trips to Copenhagen, Holland and Las Vegas to vist three of them and the man she's dating has invited her to India for Christmas! I've told her she can't miss another Christmas at home. Life is never dull with DD around though.

DS has been told he'll be a full fledged District Manager from next week so he's looking forward to that.

    Sorry for the humungous post.
