Hope the op is ok and your recovery swift, I was going to say the same as *Robin* and just tell your boss the basics.
Well done on getting rid on a debt, always a relief when a balance is a lovely £0!

At moments of down-heartedness, consider the alternative; no future at all. Whereas you do have one, and a pretty fulfilling life it seems to me, with plenty still to look forward to.

That sums up the way I try and look at life now, too, Robin.
It is a precious gift and so are our loved ones, so no matter what horrors come our way, it's worth trying to figure out a way of still seeing the bright side of life, through the gloom. You demonstrate that perfectly.

'Evening NewLeaf, your SOA is awesome - but I thought you didn't have kids - are you supporting a 3rd world school or something?
)
Good remembering! I don't have kids. I have a live in dog nanny/housekeeper because I have 3 dogs and both OH and I travel outside the country for about a week or more a month and they are miniature dogs so they can't go into a kennel. Basically we couldn't have the jobs we do if we didn't have help and I did not know where to put it on the SOA xMortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84

Morning all. It is a cold and damp one but I do like the extra hour of sleep.
Got back for Amsterdam last night. Haarlem actually where we had a very low spend time because we stayed with friends. Did not buy one thing other than food to eat and flowers for the hostess.

Any weight off is better than on.
Toenail varnish off, I'm afraid. I believe they like to monitor your tonails whilst you're under. It might be to do with making sure you're getting enough oxygen [ready to be corrected

If it will make you feel better then de-fuzz away! They will have seen hairier people though...
One thought, you may not be allowed to get your chest area wet for a few days, so it might be a 'kneeling in the bath' sort of thing for a while. If you're bothered by hairy armpits today might be the day to get them waxed :eek:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
