I'm not into the celebrity thing I'm afraid, but I'll admit to preferring the rugby player, very masculine!

Well done on the £60 despot NL, good value for money. Most despots charge a lot more!:rotfl:

Rugby player is Lawrence Dallaglio. Patrick Stewart is another favourite of mine when I'm feeling more intellectual :rotfl:Can you see a pattern forming :rotfl:It's often remarked upon that Mr F looks like Mr Dallaglio :o

good morning dear friends in the box. Letter in the post from THEM signature updated accordingly. I am still in my pyjamas but I have

washed down some walls, done a load of darks, washed dishes (not too much activity there) scrubbed the sink with Cif (I love that stuff) Got a few pieces to post

Did I mention car is in shop as some B(*t%$d hit it again on Saturday night while it was parked. It is going to cost £500 to get all the dings out not at the dealership, and I told OH why bother someone is just going to hit it again. then a light bulb went off

and I said.. since it will be all ding free why don't we sell it.. (which I thought was good thinking on my part)

    and she said..........

Somehow I don't think you're going to win this one, NewLeaf. :o

    How's Mom? :)

Ok So Mom wanted to see a "traditional" British post office. Boy was she ever disappointed. This afternoon I am taking her to a geneology place in Kew. My oldest traceable relative back to the early 1800's was a lady called Fanny Packer (I am not joking) and being a lesbian every time I think of it my giggles start off. Mom is less amused.

By the time we get back from that she will need a nap. (maybe I will too!)

Oh NL - sorry to hear about the Golfgate raging on. Good skills with the timing of the comment about ding freeness and selling though! I have to say the price for dings is not that bad, I had to pay more when DH took the wing mirror off mine on the side of the house (don't ask)

Perhaps you could try to take Mom to a quaint village post office in said Golf to appease her sense of tradition?

Enjoy the geneology experience! Hope Mom is starting to feel a bit better
