Ooh a flying visit..interesting!!!...can you get work to pay by requesting a f2f instead of this videoconferencing malarkey??:rotfl::p or do you have any airmiles to cash in? I do like the idea of a surprise!!!

    Brizzle x

The amount of airmiles I have is ridiculous.. however.. it only pays for the cost of the ticket fare these days not including the taxes.

usually the ticket part is about £75 and the taxes, surcharges and everything else is about £400. Shameful xx

  • Ooooooooooooh, aren't we all being naughty girls today? I eat a lot less than I used to, my fasting 2 days a week has shrunk my stomach so I need less food to make me feel full. If I overeat I feel quite ill. Alas I have felt quite ill a lot this week. Hasn't it been a rubbish week eh pals? It's over now, it's a week closer to spring and we'll all be back on our respective wagons next week I am sure.

NL - is it my imagination or are you paying more off the debts since you started your pound a week challenge? Is the discipline rubbing off in other areas of your life do you think? Sundays have taking on a new meaning on Planet Dot - tis your weigh in day, so I shall wait with delightful anticipation to hear how much you have lost.

What is this here Mah Jong of which you and Robin speak. Is it a card game for clever folk? Is it a bit like posh Snap?

My dgd is shuffling about noisily in the lounge with me in her travel cot. She is so tired but refusing to sucumb and I am so tempted to take her out for a cuddle, but tbh she has worn me out. We were late picking her up as we spent longer with DD1 than we expected, and I normally go inside for a cuppa and a cuddle with the baby, however I was not given the opportunity. DS was out when I called and DIL was waiting at the door for me with DGD in her hat and coat with her little overnight bag. Alarm bells rang immediately and for very good reason. She has been a little s0d. Not naughty, just mischevious one minute then clingy the next. Mr Dot was rolling his eyes (as men do) and I had to remind him that we have a responsibility to help the kids out when they are tired and have a new baby, and not just have her when she is in a lovely mood.

Ooooh, just noticed, the shuffling has stopped, everyone keep your fingers crossed that she sleeps through the night and I will see you all the morra

ooh I hope the wee one sleeps through the night and you get a good rest.

Obviously I will report in after I have weighed myself (after a wee, completely naked, with the scale in exactly the right spot) How's that for a visual! GAG!

Dorothy I am paying down the tax as fast as I can so they don't come and take the house! x
