    Hey!!!!

Get back after 48 hours to see NY trip cancelled!! Yay but do agree that would have been fine fodder for the thread so from a purely selfish point of view am missing the comedic potential there..also well done on the audit. Bet you looked so professional in your gold lame shower cap that they didn't dare ask you more than 1/2 a question each:rotfl:

PS my previous comment re audit fees applies even more methinks..maybe you could ask for a discount!

unexpected expense today. Road tax £135 for the year

Is it an Oops because you've realised late this month, or a :T for being in good time for next?

..As a matter of interest do you use the car much? (London is one of only two places in the world [that I've so far lived in] where my car was more liability than benefit - even though we owned a parking space!).

Hi Robin, we got the car last March and have 1,184 miles on it! So hardly ever. Oops because I just got it and turned straight around and paid it yesterday.

In other news: 2 new tax codes arrived in the post for me today!
