did they postpone the audit until tomorrow? OF COURSE THEY DID. How much notice? 15 minutes!

    How blooming annoying!

And the good news is... just look at that debt coming down :)

    Well done.

  • :DOh Darling - you have my permission to have any or all of the above if it helps you to sleep - you can soon walk off the calories. If it helps, I am on a complete choc fest - I am only supposed to have 500 cals on my fast day (tomorrow), at this rate I will have to have half a slice of dry toast all day. Always remember, that two years from now when you are a svelte size (whatever you want to be), and debt free you can tell the mind (delicious swearword) to shove their job.

Listen, love, you have taken on THEM and survived, these (insert my favourite swearword which is MOST unbecoming to a groovy old granny and only comes out on special occasions) are NO match for you :D

ok secret confession: I used to curse so much I had a swear jar at my desk and every time I swore I would put a £1 coin in there and then donate it to charity every 3 months.

Now I try to find words that we use in America and insert them in conversation with my British peers to see their reaction.

    Today's word "Boondoggle"

I will hasten to add I don't chew gum like a cow and I don't have a gold lame baseball cap, although it is built into my DNA that I should retire to Florida and drive a Cadillac and play MahJongg. (I am fighting that urge)

:rotfl::rotfl::T loving this!! ..the combination of gold lame and Mahjong is too much to take!

Pants re PWC..you would think at their rates they could at least be organised:p

Eat the chocolate..maybe switch to Valrhona (sp?) expensive but you eat much less and I am assured its good for you:)

After the tax is out of the way (ha) to clear the rest of our debt in 24 months I will have to pay £1900 to it monthly. This will be helped along by any bonuses either OH or I get. It is a LOT of money and feels overwhelming but I intend to give it my 100% best shot. I am going to call around and get my totals updated today

WOW NL :D YOU CAN DO IT!! :j:j

Hope the audit goes OK when it finally goes ahead. Fortune put it perfectly

PWC gets hired by my company does the audits, and then hands us what i refer to as the £5M binder and leaves. Then someone in corporate revenue puts it on a shelf somewhere.

Has no one in internal audit heard of value for money?????

    No need to answer!!

Actually find it discourteous at very least...although have to say its why I prefer face to face..harder for them to push your 'turn' back.. But see you have no choice

Got a bit lost re the hotel saga, think its that skim reading thing;)..are you still sharing with Miss M???
