40 and Foolish!

morning folks. Spoiled for choice today a friend wants me to go into town for some girl time and for a comp I won to have a cocktail at the Mayfair hotel.

Another friend wants me to stay local and for me and OH to have an Indian meal for lunch.

I would rather go int town but I dnt think I am well enough to ride public trans and I will probably be gone long enough to need a cath. what do you think?

For what its worth ......... my gut instinct is to stay local and go for the Indian. It may not be the top choice but if you are concerned already re the travel and the cath..........will you actually enjoy the day in town or will a piece of you be worrying ? Can the Competition prize be resheduled ? xx

Oh I hate clearing my inbox... we have just moved to a new email system at work and I am struggling to get to grips with it!!

I think I would be tempted to stay local too as long as you don't lose out on your prize but whichever you decide I hope you have a fab time- you deserve it!

so we went to the indian place. it was in southall which is very near to my home, and as we were eating, a Christmas Parade of Christian Indians passed by singing carols and it was very Christmasy.

so tomorrow I go back to work for only 4 hours a day. kind of looking forward to it kind of dreading it

Agree with Mrs PG, you rock! I wouldn't even know where to start with a broken boiler.

Hope work goes well for you tomorrow, you'll probably find it very tiring, so don't overdo things!
