Hi, Anyone have any info on explorer9 (, supposed to be released today, Not Beta I presume? Cheers

    In fact, don't bother downloading it. It's horrible, I uninstalled it within 1 minute.

    I've just read through a report on the Guardian web page.

    Generally their techy guy seems pleased with IE9.

    After ploughing through the whole article, at the end it states that not everyone can download it.
    I've got Windows XP so can't have it.

    :(

  • It is the beta release of Internet Explorer 9. The final release won't be for another few months yet. It's a massive improvement over previous versions and really going to be a good release.

    Why bother when you've got opera, firefox and chrome?

    Hi, Because, apart from firefox, IE supports Rapport.

    Hi Freddie, just downloaded it, out of curiosity, but I notice the web pages that I had Rapport monitored, do not appear green except HSBC. Rapport is not even on browser.Do you know if it supports Rapport? Banking safegaurd.

    Hi, just been on to Trusteer, IE( does not support Rapport, got to take it back off. Notice its not in ADD/REMOVE. Any idea best way to revert back to IE8? MSN, the link above wll not allow me to revert as IE9 is on
