what samples can you get from the body shop?

you just tell them what your intrested in and they put into little jars for you, i got the body butter and coco butter.

I do love the Body Shop samples! The little pots they put your products in are very handy as you can refill them with something else and take it with you when travelling.

To teenage_Drama: if you see an open bottle or jar that's labelled 'tester' or 'try me', why not ask for a sample to test at home especially if it's something like body lotion or make up remover. After all that's what they want you to do! I haven't asked for any make-up samples yet so that's on my list for the next visit; I'm looking for the perfect foundation!

Harvey Nichols today:
I went to collect my free brush set from Biotherm today and the SA who normally does the consultation wasn't there. Another young SA told me she'll be back in 20 mins so I decided to wait. I was looking at their products and she told me while I was waiting to think about which samples I want as they do have samples for almost all the products! After 20mins she still wasn't there so the young SA gave me the brush set and 7 different samples, 5ml each (cleansing foam, uv protect, anti-wrinkle, moisturiser, gel, etc)

I also got another 3-step skin care kit from the same clinique counter and a SA was giving away Versace bright crystal 1.6ml perfume sample near the entrance.

I thought there would be different SAs today, week day, as last time I went shopping was on Saturday but almost all of them were there today
So I went back during lunch time around noon-1pm and there were different SAs :rotfl: Debenhams, there were no more samples from the Lancome Absolue range so the SA gave me a restructuring cream from the Platineum range. (same packaging as the absolue one)

I went to town at 10am JUST to get the brush set and 1-2 clothes and thought I'll be back at noon but I came home at 5pm :eek: with 3 big shopping bags :rolleyes: LOL

I went to Debenhams today... nothing. Several SAs rather rude with me when I asked about opinions, or even trying things, Benefit was every so nice, talking me through a lot of makeups, pity they had none of the makeup palettes in and that was it, bar a Insolence piece of paper scent. Was there over an hour, and very dissatisfied, I actually wanted to buy things to treat myself with as well!

i went trafford centre today and got:

*2 x deluxe perfume samples
*4 x clarins samples
*5 lancome samples
*3 x chanel samples
*biotherm brush set, 2 samples & 1 deluxe sample
*12 perfume samples
*10 sachets

then i met chris in manchester for the triangle xmas shoppign evening and got my picture taken with that ditzy one off hollyoakes and chris saw her thong when she sat down coz she had no belt on her jeans haha!

I went brent cross yesterday - in boots my other half asked for the chanel mascaras - got 2. We spent loads at estee lauder getting a beauty case and frgrance - but they said they had no samples during december. Stingy. At least I got 1000 bonus advantage points. Extra money. There wasnt a Lancome person so didnt get the cream.

Benefit didnt have a palette in Boots or Fenwicks. Lancome counters busy everywhere.

Chanel didnt have mascaras in John Lewis.

Will be going central london in 2 weeks - but wont really ask around for samples. I'll see.

Will try Harrow next for Benefit and Chanel stuff again soon.

have you thought of writing a letter of complaint? i was treated very rudly and made to sry by a sa in debenhams when i was tryign to pay my account off and i got £20 gift card and on a pamper day (next wednesday vcant wait!) with a facial, make-over and goodie bag.

in future if youre buying, dont hand over any cash till you get samples. say its for a gift and your friend really likes samples to try and you might try elsewhere they will usually find something for you even if its from another counter!

if there isnt anyone at teh counter, ask at a neighbouring one, sometimes they also know wher the samples are kept and most are willign to have a look for you.
