    no - it's not racist.

it may depend which country or culture you're in.

there are very, very few racist people, i believe more people are prejudiced than racist.

But hang on. You can't have it both ways. It's either morally right or morally wrong to think that homosexuals should be stigmatised. If a culture alien to ours has it entrenched that homosexualilty is wrong and gays can be hanged (Iran for example), are we not guilty of disrespecting that belief system.

If an Iranian is hanging a homosexual, which one should you support?

And - more importantly - who gave us the moral authority to think we're any righter (or wronger) than Iran?

    I've got a headache.

That sort of question does tend to tie the PC types up in knots.
I had to go on a diversity course many years ago and when the question about if a Muslim man is in a care home and refuses to be cared for by a woman is this considered sexism and should it be allowed or encouraged by the local authority. I should imagine it is even more of a puzzle now with gay rights issues.

you can't judge and i would never do so.

Jamaican men hate and despise homosexuals, violence against gay men is frequent. it's accepted. it wouldn't be in the UK.

British men hating and despising homosexuals isn't the norm and. they may not be comfortable with them but they don't hate them. i don't think many men would be violent towards a gay man.

which is right i don't know. i prefer the 2nd option of not disliking anyone and allowing people to do what they want.

Trouble is that a lot of this is about legislation, in general you cannot just make a law that says everybody has to be nice to each other.

    .

You've obviously never been to Essex on a Friday night.

I think your answer is a (n understandable) cop out. Moral right or moral wrong is just that - it cannot be geography dependent.#

It can't be right to murder muslim daughters for bringing disgrace in Afghanistan, and wrong to do the same thing in the UK.

So what is it? Right or wrong? And who decides?
