To get back on thread, I just found this on another thread:

when i was buying the games earlier they were marked as £6.97 & bogof on the shelf, came home, told my gran and then just went back for more games, now they are marked up at £9.97 on the shelf so maybe this has been noticed......and fixed!

never tried again, as i dont want to pay £9.97 for two games

So it seems that the games glitch is over - not a multisave error but a misprice - they were all supposed to be £9.97.

Think she put two and two together seeing us both in there at the same time.

Wont be going there for a long long time to do any R+R's!

Just got back from my local T, one of the smaller ones. Loads of out of stock labels, so either it's been stripped or the Manager monitors this forum and has a novel approach to avoiding R&Rs.
Only had 10 mins to browse but spotted Tesco internet phones displayed in two different locations and at different prices £14.99 and £9.99, or thereabouts - if anyone wants one it might be worth checking out.

I've a query for the experts tho'. I bought 2 packs of Dorito's, SEL shows 2 for £2. When I checked the receipt these had been scanned properly and the sub-total was correct showing the full price. When I looked further down to check whether the correct discount had been given it reads 'Multibuy Savings Doritos 3 for £2' but shows the correct discout of 16p for the two packets I got.
Can I R&R?, can I claim the third packet as well?.
Or is it just a HO mistake (as I was told)
No r&r as there is no overcharge you simply didn't get the third item because it wasn't in your trolley and you weren't aware of the offer to put it there, nothing to stop you asking for your third packet though explaining had you known it was three for £2 you would have picked it up, if they refuse get a refund and go get three bags.

I'd hazard a guess you just tumbled on a glitch and everyone will be able to {excuse the pun} bag an extra bag!

I dont know why I feel so embarassed. Its me thats being overcharged!

I had to wait 20 minutes for a manager to come down and authorise it. All the members of staff at the customer service desk looking, as well as the security guard from his desk!

Even had to supply my name and address. She checked my name against that on my bank card.

She gave me the refund and went to turn away without giving me the game. thinking quickly I said "I only came to query the over price, I still wanted the game"

She looked at me and gave a big smile. Whilst giving me the game she said "You know that you get it for free"
I wanted the ground to open up! I quickly made my exit!
