What is this Love Film, is it a paradoy on that classic Freda has in her collection, Love Story?0

Pack it in, go away and don't come back until you can argue your point in a civil way. If Lovefilm wound you up enough to say something like that, then I would not be surprised that you were turned down.andrewpickup wrote: »

So I've got an exclusive invite to a club. I've adhered to the rules they ask and dress code. Still won't let me in. Bit unreasonable0

Count it as a lucky escape. We had Ilovefilm their customer service is almost non existant. They messed up charging for 2 accounts when they transferred us from Amazon. Then quality went down so 50% of the DVD's we got were scratched and wouldn't play properly. Finally they kept charging for two months after I had cancelled & they had stopped the service!
With lidlmovies now and they're a lot better.0 -

The management reserve the right to refuse admission0 -
You are confusing an invitation with rights. But let's argue it on rights.andrewpickup wrote: »So I've got an exclusive invite to a club. I've adhered to the rules they ask and dress code. Still won't let me in. Bit unreasonable
If you had bought an exclusive ticket to an event, you would have a right to what you had bought - or if the right to refuse admission was reserved, you should get your money back.
In this case you have been refused something you paid nothing for. You are entitled to your money back. Nothing.
As you have an invitation, that is not as strong as rights.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I got a month free with them despite having had an account before for several years. I cancelled a year ago because I'd seen everything I wanted to but recently thought about rejoining. Now they specifically state all offers are for new customers only but I said I'd been a good customer in the past and was thinking of rejoining and could they give me some sort of offer in respect of this. I got 2 months for the price of 1. Not much but it shows you can get things if you just ask nicely.0

Pretty much watertight. I came into this thread to suggest ways the OP could try to come to a compromise with LF (like other have) but seeing his tone in the OP, realised he was a lost cause, an aggressive lost cause.DVardysShadow wrote: »You are confusing an invitation with rights. I think you will find that you started spouting the aggressive dismissing tone and I foolishly lowered myself to your level. I was even good enough to let the absurd fabrications you came out with pass.
I'll put an end to this now0 -
Chill out dude, watch a good movie..0
