1) Use Tesco - they are run by Lovefilm but provide a better service which is wierd but it works so I don't complain.

Or

2) Do without a free trial - it isn't the end of the world.

Or

3) Use Blockbuster instead - let LF know just how cross you are and use their competitor!!!

Useless? At least I can get a free trial!

And I have seen the inside of it, but can't remember that much I was distracted by the football match going on.

Btw, as an accountant I'm well aware of the realities of business, however, as an auditor, I have serious doubts about the club's status as a going concern under the management of the glazers, which any stakeholder in any business would be would be worried about.

I have a two month free trial card somewhere that you can have if you like? They are given out to LoveFilm customer to give to their friends and relations so I don't think they can refuse you with a card.

Maybe there was someone at the address previously who had lovefilm and they became a bad customer and lovefilm don't want to get stung again.

They refused me because my address had been used before, I emailed them and explained and I got a free trial no problem!

Thanks for the offer of the voucher. The one I used was a gift card I was given too.

As for the address bar the occasional house keeper visits the house has been empty for years until I came back to the UK

It's not a matter of cost or anything like that it just doesn't seem on. Here have this, oh actually no you can't.

I was perfectly rational and reasonable with my contact with them. I was just more amazed that they had taken my details and offered and confirmed with one hand and took with the other.

Without sounding absurd money is no issue to me I just don't like shoddy service

I do like Love Film personally. Why not just sign up to them anyway? So you don't get your free trial? So what?
