Drink driving charges dropped, Is it possible?
Comments
-
Not the ones in court for drink driving no, but speeding and using a mobile phone yes.
Not true.
The hypothecation scheme ended several years ago (2006 I think) in an attempt to address concerns that police were putting profit before safety.
Nowadays they are on a fixed budget and the fines all go to central government. Why do you think there is suddenly less willingness for councils to be involved in and fund camera partnerships.0 -
Police are only interested in motoring offences they can make money out of like using a mobile phone, speeding, and so on.
Perhaps its not about the money? perhaps its about the risk that people who do these things cause to other people? If someone drove into your car, or ran over and seriously injured or killed on eof your family or friends while on the phone or driving like an idiot I'm sure you would be the first one to be shouting about it. :mad:October Wins- £59 Ikea giftcard, Terrys Chocolates0 -
What everyone here has said is very true and I suport it. What I don't like is yet another newcomer asking advice and getting a mullering from certain quarters. Read the post, it's her daughter who is the disbeliever, she is simply supporting her, what other reaction could there possibly be?
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
