I did leave mine out Sunday night as it was late being washed, and i was just too tired to get it back in, if it was going to rain during the night then yes i would of had to rewash it all, but it was fine.
With the MS and if no one is around to help then it will stay out over night.0 -
Only if I forget to fetch it in!:D
But then, I usually set my WM to come on at about 04:00, and put the washing out (or rather get DH to put it out;)) before he goes to work.
I'm here all day, so can hobble out to fetch it in when it's dry or if it looks like rain.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
In the summer I often put mine out overnight, wouldn't do it now though!!Slightly bitter0

I do, sometimes I put a load on in the evening, usually when I bring my uniform home at the end of the week. It stops it hanging around!
If I know its going to be nice the next day I will put it out so it gets more sun before it disappears behind the trees, plus I can have a lay in!

I leave my washing out overnight, sometimes - it all depends on the weather. We moved house this summer, but at our old house hubby built a covered decking area across the whole of the back of our house so I had a couple of lines strung under that and put my washing out hail, rain or sunshine whatever the season trying to use the dryer as little as possible - although I do not hang our underwear or socks. Socks because they are too bloomin fiddly and undies cos I don't like other people perusing my smalls (or not so smalls nowadays :embarasse)Donna
Economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.0 -
never leave my washing out after sunset!
two main reasons
one - it would get pinched (my back garden has an access lane right beside it).
two - my nan would turn over in her grave! according to her - you peg the washing out at sparrow fart!
as the sun doesnt reach the back garden until after ten - most days there is no point in pegging out washing that early!
but if your washing is done in the evening and the back garden is secure and it gives you more time in the morning - go for it! its YOUR washing and you dont need our permission do you?0 -

Hang undies out  I can hear my mother now. I've never hung my undies outside. I've left my washing on the line overnight more than once though. I've often thought about hanging it up overnight as the back garden gets the sun all morning but I never have. Guess I'm going to start though."Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.

Hi, I leave my washing out overnight all year round. It takes a wee bit longer in the winter, and sometimes your washing gets frosted, but there is nothing nicer than open aired washing. I used to make a point of putting out white washing, towels and especially terry nappies if it was to be frost, as I felt they always looked whiter, and the frost would kill off any germs in the towels and nappies!Every days a School day!0

I,m with suzybloo on this one. I always peg out my washing if the weather is looking good. Takes a bit longer to dry and does get a bit frosty but soon warms through! I love the fresh smell! I never peg out my smalls though, my OH would never forgive me if i pegged out his superman undies!!!!!0
