Hi everyone

This will be my last DFW diary. Why? Because I will be debt free by the end of it.

I am around £37,500 in debt. My plan is to think of 100 ways to make £375 and then pay this off my debt. I get bored very easily so I thought that having 100 different activities will mean that I won't have time to get bored as I will only have to do them until I make my £375 and then it's on to the next one.

So far, I have 19 ideas and will think of the rest by the end of the day.

It might be that I have a few on the go at once, but I intend to keep a record of what money is coming from where and will post next to each idea how much of the £375 I have made.

If anyone has any ideas to add then please let me know :o. Feel free to try any of the ideas yourself :D.

My Divide and Conquer challenge starts tomorrow!!

Emily xx

Thanks - I guess that I might find £375 worth of change as I think this challenge will still take 2-3 years to complete. I found a tenner the other week so a few big finds like that would help.

I will add it on :D.

I like it too, how about babysitting? I do once a week, you should be able to get £375 in 3-4 months time if you're lucky!

Thanks, I would be ok babysitting as I look after my 3-year-old niece all the time. However, I don't have any friends with kids that need babysitting. I guess I could advertise on Gumtree.

I will add it to the list and look into it.

Look into Sitters, they send me babysittings every week, doesn't pay much but it's regular work.

How about baking cakes and selling them for friends/families? Or making jams/chutneys/etc?

Not very 'baking' orientated unfortunately. I think I would have to pay people to eat my creations :rotfl:.

  • hrrmmm how about every month you check down behind your sofa/car seats (and even other people's sofas when you go to visit them... just wait till they go to the loo) and collect money from there too?

Pet sitting/walking? Again you could advertise yourself on gumtree?

I think I would add any money found down the sofa etc to the money found in the street one so will change that to just 'money found'.

I would be ok looking after small animals and cats, but can't really walk dogs as I have Cystic Fibrosis and can't walk too far. I think the main work in this area is dog walking. Will look into it though.
