x mas pressie buying!

Options
Even though I hate christmas I still give presents out and thought I had better start soon as i dont want it all coming out of 1 months wages. Went to boots yesterday and bought 3 presents, got the cheapest one free and then got a £5 voucher off any fragrances bought till October! bargain both ways as i shall treat myself or buy perfume cheaper as a gift.

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Another thing to keep in mind with boots.....is to keep an eye on their after xmas sales. Most of their stuff falls in price and is great for putting to one side for either next xmas, or birthday's that crop up over the following year.

I have not found this to be the case. My daughter asked me to pick up some eye makeup remover for her - a particular brand - Boots 3 for 2 was a lot more expensive per bottle than a shop next door that only sells toiletries.

Another thing to watch in boots in their 3 for 2 items is that it's the cheapest thing free. I went to do an online xmas shop at the weekend as had lots of kids toys I wanted and was only going to get the cheap stuff free - like lynx sets. Managed to get the order and choose presents that gave me maximum points and big items free. The smaller stuff - I'll pop into the store and get - again buying in 3's.
So little money - so much time

Also a bit nearer to Xmas Boots have half price perfume and also double points. I love Lulu and its £20 but nearer Xmas it's always £10 and double points. I get myself 3 or 4 bottles for people to give me!!! At least i get what i want then!
