I find Studio Cards much cheaper for calendars etc, got some great gift ideas in this year, I like the personalised items, something different isn't it.
Going to Home bargains next week hopefully as it's a fair distance away, see what I can find there.
Think there will be some clothes bought this year for children as gifts, nectar vouchers worth £5 in Adams and I have over 16000 pointsOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Cruiksl wrote:Another thing to watch in boots in their 3 for 2 items is that it's the cheapest thing free. I went to do an online xmas shop at the weekend as had lots of kids toys I wanted and was only going to get the cheap stuff free - like lynx sets. Managed to get the order and choose presents that gave me maximum points and big items free. The smaller stuff - I'll pop into the store and get - again buying in 3's.
It doesn't work like that. They give you the best offer, eg if you bought:
3 items at £10
3 items at £5
3 items at £2
You'd get a £10, a £5 and a £2 item free, and not 3 £2 items.

Yes sarah is right, Boots used to just give you the cheapest free, but it has been changed (last year I think) Basically they knew people would just keep coming back for the items if they had sense, so made it easier for everyone. One day I might be more organised...........
