  • This excersize has made me realise that some of the things I wrote yesterday aren’t really “goals”; more like aspirations on what I want my everyday life to be like. But the clear cut goals are as follows:

    • Being debt free – July 2012
    • Completing my degree – July 2016
    • Become a published author – hopefully have first full book written and sent off to publishers by Xmas 2012
    • Be living in my “forever” home – 2017
    • Be married – 2012
    • Had first child - 2013
    • Go a full year without forgetting an important birthday/event – Dec 2011

It becomes so daunting when I put deadlines on it, but this is a good thing. It’s making me feel, for the first time, that I need to be accountable for all of the above things. Wishing they will happen or daydreaming about them isn’t going to make it happen.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s challenge!

  • What a terrible day - cold and wet and windy. Never mind it's supposed to be sunny at the end of the week. Seems a long week though.

How nice to be head-hunted Lou.
Is it today that Pooky gets her results?

Ignoring challenge - my dates would be too depressing and most of the goals pipe dreams. I can dream though! :o

I can't even remember what my goals were from my post on Monday:o:rotfl:

Yesterday it was confirmed that I am eligible for the car lease scheme through work so will be getting shiny new Ford type vehicle(tax, insurance, roadside recovery and repairs/maintenance included) and I HAVE TO order a new one every 3,000 miles or 3 months, whichever is sooner:D

Wasn't one of your goals to have a full licence Lucifa....:rotfl:

There are a few people missing with deadlines BUFFY!!! (although she is at school so I will let her off). Bookie give yourself something to do otherwise you will just procrastinate.....that attitude is defeatist! I have no idea how to spell that one. and can't be bothered to look it up!

Butti - I think you are right that the two of you need to want a child.

I've got my car in the garage - dropped it off just after 8 to have the cam belt done (:() and they rang at 2 to say there are problems so still working on it :( It is also having the MOT so this will be an expensive day. I was hoping to have picked it up by now as I have a work call 4-5 and then an evening meeting at 18.00 so will struggle a bit I think.

Luc - is your current license an automatic one then or a provisional?
