Redruby, I don't know what to suggest but I know if it was my brother I'd quite possibly choke him!

Tired today. My period has only lasted two days??? Things are taking forever to settle down this time, I think I'll need to bother the doctor about it now. Had a quietish day made some coconut drops and gingerbread muffins, which the boys and OH just had with custard for dessert. I had a half, it was yummy. :D I have emptied one box of paperwork, and that's about it. The car problems weren't as serious as I though, and the thing which definitely needs repairing is £72 which isn't bad, but it need to go into Citroen next week for something that is £200! That will be sore.

Glad it went well at the Uni Flutterby, don't worry I'm sure there will be plenty of eligible men opportunities in the library, refrectory etc. etc. :D;)

    Have a nice evening peeps.

    Good Evening :D

Hubby got paid today (and his tax sorted out too :j) as is currently getting 'inked' I believe they call it these days ...was called getting a tattoo in my day :p His treat to himself for the long hours he worked last month.

I have just been to asda and got the bargain of all bargains! They have a 'proper' butcher in ours and I seen that they had these big pre-prepared packs to do a sweet chilli stir-fry with chopped peppers & onions, dried noodles and marinated chicken and they were £5.99 ...just got three packs for 99p each :D even the big aluminium trays will be used for something else :j

Also got too huge chocolate birthday cakes for £2 each (i really doubt I could have made them for that! one had been sliced and froen for pack ups the other one will be munched with ice cream or custard us tonight and tomorrow.

Right I'm off to read memorygirls DFW Diary...I'm engrossed!

  • hello chums just had to stick my head around the door to say my lovely DGS Danny went for another short contract today with the forthcoming MTV show in Madrid, and he got it and I am so pleased for him.He is still de-rigging at Elstree after BB and finishes the end of this week, and has a couple of weeks off ,one of which he is taking his smashing girlfriend Chloe to New York for a week and the day after he comes home he starts on the MTV show, he is thrilled to bits as its a great feather in his cap and on his CV. My arm has been very painful today but i am sticking with it as when it was rebandaged this morning i could see what a differance even three days has made. I'll be glad when its off though as everything is such a hassle to do. I did my ironing with my left hand today, felt very peculiar and uncomfotable but at least its done now.
I booked youngest DDs suprise trip to London for her to see 'We Will rock You' for her and her OH in November and managed to get them good seats and a decent hotel. He will be so suprised as its the last thing he would think that DD would get for him.But it is his 40th so its rather special.I shall stay at their house and babysit the tribe whilst they stay the night in london and see the show and have a meal. Well i'm going to have an early night and a read I think
    Night all God Bless

Sadly there won't be cos although I'm doing a uni course, it's held in a local college so, once again, I am surrounded by teenage boys! :rotfl:

I'm just in one of those moods, fed up of being single cos I'm full of a cold and got no-one to look after me! :o

    Evening everyone

Well the last 2 days have been a washout for me. Went to drs yest morning and she decided that I needed to have my abcess drained. Don't do anything like that in our town so had to go down to hospital in Stoke.

They decided I needed it done under GA, couldn't fit me in yesterday so have been back today and had it done, feeling decidedly wobbly tonight.

OH has taken time off work and is playing nurse :rotfl:

So he is the one who has done all the housework today, hes done washing, hoovering, DW, cleaned the glass on the cooker and re sprayed the inside again. Took me to hosp, picked me up, fed me and is now making me another cuppa:D

Have read thread, but nothing has really sunk in, so hugs for those who are in need, well dones, and good wishes
