Morning All,
Rainy. Hugs to the Camelots, hope today you get to see at least a wee bit of sunshine.xxx
OH has just taken the boys to school, he is narky this morning, its going to be a fun day! Then he's taking the car to the garage to get a couple of problems checked and a price for the repairs sorted out. IT will be there most of the day I expect. Ho hum, more money. Plan for today is to tackle the paperwork mountain, now that my head is a bit clearer. Not looking forward to that but I should just get on with it and stop procrastinating. I have just put some soup in the s/c, carrot and lentil - our favourite, I'd eat it every day probably if I could get away with it.
So I am off to get my porridge, hugs to all in want or need. Have a good day!

Morning everyone!
Sun and blue skies here at the moment, may get some washing out quick!
Got so much to do but cant seem to get myself motivated. Yesterday's de-clutter got sidelined for the Doris Day film:o
Although I did manage to get rid of my old buggy (I was gonna take to charity shop this week). My neighbour had hers stolen from her doorstep yesterday, and quite a few of us were at home but saw nothing! Luckily I had my old buggy she can borrow/keep - so good deed done there!:)
Need to pop to Lidl's for milk and salmon (hope its still on offer).
and still got that marrow to sort out!:rotfl:
camelot - (hugs) x
redruby - Why is it that some members of the family have to do it all and others get away with it? same in my family- I'm usually doing it all too!
Off on school run, have a good day everyone! x0 -

Good morning
Big hugs to the Camelot family
JackieO hugs for you too, and I hope you're managing OK. Wish I could come and help.
Just taken the house elf to school and we were nearly blown away! I will be making lamb curry for dinner which seems to suit the weather. I'm of to clean and declutter my good sitting room in a minute. That shouldn't take long - just a matter of rehoming the few toys that have crept in there, fishing out the biscuit crumbs that the elf dropped under the coffee table this morning, and a general clean round.
Take care all of you.0 -
camelot (((hugs))) to you x
Redruby very difficult situation x
i'm hungry already is it too early to eat my lunch0 -
Morning All,
Bright and breezy today, two loads of washing on line and third and final one in the wm, rubbish out for collection, bins washed and dw on. DP and DS fed and decluttered to their various destinations although I am a bit concerned about DS as I had a text asking me to ring him (half an hour after he should have started school!) and no answer  I'm just waiting for school to ring me back to confirm he is actually there. DD1 has day off so still in bed but she will be up in a bit as she has physio today. In fact as it's such a nice day I might even get the bus with her and take the opportunity to have a look around Aldi and Poundland
(I will not buy bulbs, I will not buy bulbs
)
Best wishes to everyone, and hugs to those that need them.

Hi all. A chilly morning today; autumn is definitely on the way. Nearly didn't find today's thread – it's the 15th today, PenPen. Tempus fugit, and all that!
Redruby (((HUGS))) must be so frustrating for you, seeing your bro acting selfish. I agree your mum really needs to say No to him.
Camelot (((HUGS))) for you; a day of memories for you, I guess; may they be good ones.
JackieO I had to smile at your post late yesterday; good idea to use a binbag to keep the dressing dry. I'm sure the firemen wouldn't have batted an eyelid!
Shez good grief, what sort of mean-spirited oik would nick a buggy off a doorstep?
I managed to drag myself of the sofa to go to the restaurant last night - I didn't want to insist on cancelling, as Mr LW would've been so disappointed. We had a superb meal; Mr LW had fillet steak, and I had a mushroom and tarragon dish done in filo pastry (can't for the life of me remember the proper name of it) and we had champagne. Boy oh boy am I cream crackered today! None spoons!:D Luckily I have only to make a loaf, which I shall let the BM do, and we're having celery soup tonight - a recipe I've not done before, but it looks mega-easy; I thought a light dins, as we had such a big meal last night! We still have some damson crumble to have for pud.
:idea:Strudel. That was the word I was trying to think of for the mushroom and tarragon thing. Gods, my memory gets worse!:wall:
Off to the Flylady thread now, to see what I don't have the energy to do today.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi all, had that nasty weather down here in Kingston yesterday but it's beautiful blue skies today so don't worry, it'll be over soon!
Deep cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms today whilst I wait for a package from ASOS. I bought a cardigan from them which turned out to be naff, constructed so the inside of a patterned knit is on the outside?! Naturally, it's a mess after one wear so they're sending me a new one which I will then return to get my money back. Soon as that gets here I'm off into town with the BF. Wonder if 40% off odeon vouchers work with orange wednesdays? Hmmm, would make it almost as cheap as the Birmingham Odeon... I'm nudging him to take us to pizza express too, get 2 for 1 and free dough balls. He lurrrrves dough balls, and they're £3 at the super market when we could get them + 2 meals for £8?!
Made some delicious apple & cinammon porridge for breakfast, the apple was from my parents' two weeks ago so it cost me ~4p for the bowl.
I reeeeally wish I was good/fast enough at knitting to make clothes. It took me months to knit a dr who style snood(it was taking too long to do a scarf!) so I'd need to start a jumper now for next winter!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon all
((hugs)) camelot
I am off to uni in a minit's the Induction for my PGCE so I'll actually get to meet the other students today. I'm looking forward to it. I'm still full of a cold, but luckily I do not look like rudolph!
My work kids are all prepped for their presentation tomorrow. I've popped home for lunch before I got to uni. I'll hopefully get to do this most Weds before I go to uni, which means I can have a big lunch cos uni will be from 2pm to 7pm (although it's only til 5.30 today).
No OS here today yet
Have a good day all
