Just got a phonecall from OH saying they had a 'lunch' at work, and there's loads of food left over so he's bringing it home. Might do dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow if we're lucky!0

Thankyou Bitsybeans for the diary link, I was looking for a blog didnt know those threads existed.
Today is the coldest day we have had, we were practically blown to school!
DS2 having a nap, he spent over an hour running around tots with a new kid whose nearly 3, both of them playing Ben 10, he was made up as the other kids are quite quiet... shame hes only there 2 more weeks before school starts for him.
Hugs and good wishes to all who need it - bacon and pasta for me and OH, boys are having pasta with chicken nuggets there weekly treat! xxMum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
Afternoon all,
Camelot....hugs
LameWolf...glad you enjoyed the meal out.
Cold and windy here to-day, going to put clothes out anyway as can't be bothered with them round the house....nothing needed urgently.
Spagbol for dinner, going to make a coffee sponge to follow, haven't made one for years, OH got me some Irel (like your Camp) coffee essence so should be OS if not necessarily MS!
Waiting for a call from pension people, was suddenly taxed on 'week 1' basis four weeks ago and still nothing sorted, they have taken my tax credits too so pretty peeved to say the least! can't afford to pay them 25% of my pension, especially when I shouldn't be paying it!!
Don't plan on much to-day, have done my little bit of decluttering, need to bag some more clothes for CS....why have I kept stuff that will never fit me again just because it is not worn out....one of OH's 2 suits is going too, really should send both as they don't really fit him any more, but he needs a suit about 6 times a year so feel unwilling to buy him a new suit just for that, he can get into one I am keeping in spite of weight he has put up since he stopped smoking.
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone, hugs if needed

Hello Everyone
(((Camelot)))
Redruby - hope you get hold of your brother and get it sorted.
Havn't posted for a few days darn life keeps getting in the way. Start my job training next week and getting lots of chores done now. Have had an eye test (need glasses now for reading & computer work!) that was expensive. Taken DD to orthodontist to have her brace removed :j can't believe that after 3 years of her moaning about her brace she is now moaning that it is off - teenagers!
As not been in much housework needs doing and some paperwork catching up on. Am in tomorrow as have BT coming round sometime to fit another phone line in so will hopefully get loads done then. Will definately have to hoover behind the unit where the socket is going . Also will be making chicken stock tomorrow as have a carcass in the fridge. Might even get round to some baking as have been inspired by the Great British Bake Off.
Hope everyone is ok.x0 -

Redruby - any chance of your mum learning to say "NO" to your brother? They are def taking the p*ss
.
trouble is, he is still her blue eyed boy, and can do no wrong in her eyes, this is despite the fact that he borrows cash from mum each week and never pays her back (and mum and dad are on a very tight budget), his children are running wild, and the house is a pit, with never any food in
Anyway I just spoke to brothers wife, and explained the situation to her, she was not best pleased, she said 'well your mum likes to see the children' so I told her to take them over to see her, and not ask mum to run around after her, she was not best pleased, and ended up putting the phone down on me :rotfl:, I am sure brother will be on the phone tonight, but hey ho, bout time he started to give instead of taking all the time.
Lamewolf, i wish I could lend you a couple of spoons xx0 -

Evening All
Just grabbed a few mins.
Helped out at reception class today - the littlies do make me chuckle :rotfl: I had to use the wheelchair because there was no way I could sit in those ickle bity chairs (plus my bum's too big:rotfl:) and I can't stand for long. The wheelchair fascinated them and they wanted a ride but you can't do that sort of thing nowadays - what a sad country we live in. We had a great day of crafting though
.

Evening all
Uni was goodwe were only there for 2 hours today but got all the info and schedule for the whole year. I appear to be one of the youngest in the class. And I'm devastated that there were no cute eligible men there
:rotfl: I'm fed up of only having either teenage boys or married men be interested in me  Ah well will have to look elsewhere now!

Hello everyone!
Just got back in from placement, and......
I've got a job interview!! :j:j:j:j:j:D:D:D
It's for my first job as a mental health nurse, and they only closed the applications on Friday. It's at Rampton so not the easiest job to apply for, so I'm quite nervous, but really excited too!
That's it reaaly, boring day apart from that.
Hope everyone is well.

Not much OS to report today other than my sister gave me a bag of tomatoes(homegrown) and a cucumber.:T
Got to go on a course tomorrow on my day off - Person Centred Planning(riveting stuff) but have the afternoon off.
I havent caught up yet - hope everyone's well.
