Are these not that popular? Had a look on ebay. Hardly any sold. Few for £29.99 brand new. One in auction sold for about £16.
Doesnt anybody know about these. They should advertise these properly. Make people aware they are better than GHDs.0 -
I'm returning mine tomorrow because I think theyre rubbish.♥ Blogger at Victoria's Vintage Blog ♥0

I checked mine over when they arrived and I am happy. I haven't tested them yet because they are a gift. Glad to see the majority of comments are positive ones, and the reviews are great. They have a years warranty with them......good enough for me!0

Mine stopped working yesterday, the 4th time I used them.
They started to 'crackle' then stopped working although there is a pinpoint of light in the on/off indicater so its not the fuse.0 -
I bought some when this thread first opened, and have used them daily since then. They havent broken or crackled, BUT they arent very good
They dont seem to straighten my hair and it is taking me an hour to do my hair where before it would take 20 minutes, and thats on highest temp. I dont think GHD's are the best out there either, but GHD are better than these. Maybe they are ok for normal hair but mine is thick and curly, and ithey cannot cope at all!

I'm also not too impressed. I only started using them yesterday - I did think they werent very hot at first but then realised they were at the lowest setting! Anyway up high I can smell a slight electrical burning smell and the plates dont align up well. If I look at them the tip meets flat but there's a gap along the rest of the length of the plates so wont straighten on a thin section of hair. I am considering returning them as faulty as although they havent broken the fact that the plates dont close properly makes me think they are! I have never returned anything to TK Maxx before though so was wondering if they would accept them back with no problem.0

I returned mine and i said i dont know if they are faulty or just rubbish. i was within the 21 days so she refunded me the price but not delivery because they still turned on so didnt think they were faulty. i emailed head office and they refunded my delovery charge.♥ Blogger at Victoria's Vintage Blog ♥0

I bought these as a gift but decided not to give them and returned them to the shop. Had a LOT of problems with the SA refusing to return even though when I bought them I was told I could. If they are faulty you should be fine, else I would contact their customer service department and I'd call not write. I wrote a letter about my bad experience and about 2 weeks later got sent a standard card through the post to call them  they were more than happy to help with the refund but very dismissive about their staff not knowing policies and being very rude to me!Trying to control my spending0

I was going to take the plunge and buy these for my daughter but don't think I'll bother now......she likes my babyliss onesNever put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

I just returned mine no problems. I was outside the 21 days for refund but I said they were faulty as the plates didnt close tightly and they were fine about it.0
