Oh dear, I've got two for presents and haven't opened them yet, but in view of the problems I think I will now. I'm over 21 days I think. I was so pleased to get them, but it looks like a lot are faulty.

You might be ok to return these even though it's outwith the 21 days as when I was in today I noticed a sign saying they have extended the returns period for Christmas purchases. Sorry I didnt look and see when the date was from but I'm thinking it might have been early October. On the other hand yours might be ok as I'm sure some folks on this thread love them and have had no problems so it's just luck I think! Although I do think the fact that they sell online for £99 and TK Max had them for £30 may suggest a faulty batch.

Mine are fine. Work really well, heat up dead fast and work like a dream. Maybe I just got lucky?

I use a great hair straightener that works amazingly, it's the Karmin G3 salon Pro, it has tourmaline ceramic plates that cause less damage to the hair, it heats up to 460F for all hair textures, plus it keeps my hair soft, shiny , frizz less and super straight, I luv it !! :j :T
