I NEVER buy electrical goods from TK Maxx before.. the two straighteners/curlers i have previously bought have both been broken, and the speed at which they take them back, i am not surprised anyones is broke.

Got mine today, tested them and they seem fine - gonna keep the box and invoice for a little while, just incase.
  • I went back and got an exchange for the limited edition set because that was all they had left in stock. I am hoping it was just a one off, fingers crossed.
  • I bought mine about a month ago and they are good but they are very hot and have dried my hair a little bit. No other complaints though and the storage pouch is really good. For the money they are an excellent buy.

    Worried now!

I got mine yesterday but didn't check them, will they be easy enough to put back in the box if I take them out? These are a gift for my daughter for Christmas and I would be gutted if they didn't work. I know they weren't expensive in terms of GHD prices but it's still not cheap at £33 for something that may be naff! :( I would rather have paid out for a pair of GHDs if I'd known these were going to cause problems!

it's an excellent buy for the money but i believe they break very fast
  • All the reviews I ve seen are good, I cant find anything which says that they break quickly?

Recieved mine today, they are working fine and I m very pleased. Was nt expecting the heat proof pouch so even happier.
  • i got mine but i just cant seem to do curls with them :(:(
