I ordered 2 (meant to order 1 but the page froze and I clicked again and the total went up to two and I left it like that in my haste to get the order through).

Anyway, I got a confirmation e.mail immediately saying:-

Your order reference number is: MF*******

This email confirms the order you have placed online. We will email you
again to confirm shipment when your order is processed, which will be
within the next working day. Orders paid for before 6pm weekdays are
normally processed the same day.

I have wanted one of these for ages and have everything crossed but doubt very much we'll be seeing these. I opted for a faster delivery but still can't see it happening.

Haven't had any cancellation e.mails though.

A couple of things here - firstly, MobileFun are a fine and reputable company. I've been buying items from them for years without any problems at all. They do send marketing email, but you can opt-out at any time, it's only ever for their own 'stuff', and it's only normally about one email every couple of weeks.

Secondly, I think people suggesting Trading standards and the like are going a bit far. It's quite clearly a mistake, and to suggest that they should be somehow forced into supplying hundreds of systems at a loss of close to (I guess) £300 each is ridiculous. Alright, it would have been great to have one for £3.59 (I was too late to get my order in!) but lets keep hold of a bit of realism here, and just accept we won't.

Of course, a polite email asking for, say, a 20% discount voucher off your next order is worth a shot...
