Trust me, this is from experience and small claims court with Apple. Remember the contract is only form by law when they take your money. They only do that when they are about to ship the item unless you paid by electron/solo then they take the money immediately. Any other card payment is only 'reserved'.

I also ordered this item for £3.59 at 8:00 am on thursday morning and I paid by bank transfer as I only have visa electron which they don't accept. The money has left my account and I am still to receive a cancelation email.

Well I for one am having a laugh. I don't think anyone really expected them to send them for this price but if they're gonna make up stories rather than admit to a mistake, it's kinda fun to wind them, or is that just me?

I dont really want to get involved in this arguement, but do you really want to be responsible for shutting down a company and loosing people jobs?

What are you trying to teach them? That a junior web guy may have made a mistake? Only human, and everyone has to start somewhere...

Thanks for getting involved by replying :T . I'm a big believer that people should own up to there mistakes. OK I don't want to see people lose there jobs, but why not compensate us all by a voucher etc, then they will still make money out of us.

I'm a big believer in the saying 'If it sounds to good to be true, stay away'.

I wonder if anyone from the site has been directed to this thread, might have to do it...
