She was convinced that it was JJB's fault, and that they should recompense her grandson.
If she had taken her blinkers off and accepted that her grandson played a role in the saga and insisted from the off the police pursue the real thief rather than trying to apportion blame entirely on JJB she may have had a result by now. As it is, some week - 10 days later the evidence has probably been overwritten and the thief is home and dry.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

CCTV from the shopping centre may show the thief going from JJB to a multistorey carpark. If so, a car registration number will be visible. If the police will not help then contact SOCA and they may be able to sort it out.
Thanks,0 -
Serious Organised Crime Agency?
Is this a 'serious' suggestion?
If the police are unwilling to get involved, I'm very doubtful that SOCA will be willing to.
One female opportunist thief is hardly 'organised' - and comparable to drugs or human trafficking or major gun crime.0 -

Thanks,
CCTV may show the (alleged) thief leaving the shop and getting on a bus.
A bus registration will be visible.
Interpol will track down all bus drivers and interrogate them.:D0 -
