  • If your house has ALWAYS been too cold, one or more rads are too small. If it used to be warm enough, but not any more, you should look into:

    Possible corrosion and sludging up of the system.
    Worn out pump
    System not properly balanced.

    Forget the British Gas quote. They are by no means the company that they used to be, and tend to be very expensive for what you get. On top of that they sub an awful lot of work out to guys that are not part of the company. So in reality, you are paying BG, but the actual work might be done by a chap working for a company you've never heard of.
