Just wanted to add another congratulations. Not only to Martin, but to everyone who has posted help on this site in the past couple of years. Just goes to show that all it takes is one person to stand up and refuse to be ripped off - then many others will follow. (How many of us have passed information onto friends and family from this site?)
This commendation is totally deserved by Martin, MSE team and all who take part in the boards etc. and proof that MSE is making waves and being noticed.
Congratulations and thanks - I know that its helped me save hundreds - and helped me to help others.

And quite rightly so! Well deserved Martin.
A big thanks from me too. You've just saved me about £90 per month as I've recently transferred my credit card to a 0% interest one for 10 months. That's not far off £1000 I've saved thanks to you.

Who wants to bet that Martin gets an OBE sometime soon as a result of this....
What odds would the bookies give you? Anyone know?

Early day motion (EDM) is a colloquial term for a notice of motion given by a Member for which no date has been fixed for debate. EDMs exist to allow Members to put on record their opinion on a subject and canvass support for it from fellow Members. In effect, the primary function of an EDM is to form a kind of petition that MPs can sign and there is very little prospect of these motions being debated on the floor of the House.

Hearty Congratulations Martin and to all the team who helped so many people benefit in so many different ways. The fact that the board had to be upgraded because of the heavy demand and the amount of subscribers to the newsletter proves not just how successful the site is but how much "truth" is written. All without paid for ads too, that speaks volumes.
Another poster mentioned an O.B.E. how would we lobby for this? Surely with the amount of regulars on the forums and the newsletter subscribers, we could make this happen?Whoever said everything was possible obviously hasn't tried slamming a revolving door
