i am on contract with vodaphone just now and would like to keep my number, is this poss if i changed from v to the free phone for a year.
 are there any catches?
so what i make of it is that you pay via direct debit every month and then forward your bills and a cheque is therefore received. correct?0

The Nokia 6030 with Orange and Motorolla Pebl both have an asterix denoting 18 month contract. Doesn't that mean you pay £30/month for 12 months and get £360 back over periods of that year (effectively paying nothing) but then have to go on and pay £180 over the following 6 months?
Or have I missed something and is it an effectively free phone?
Ah never mind - spotted the contract duration. D'oh. 0 0

PS, I have done this with Car Phone Warehouse in the past.

Just a question regarding this. I can't find many terms and conditions about the cashback except for a few bullet points. Can I downgrade after 6 months and still get the same level of cashback, effectivly giving me another £66 profit?0

 No you can't.
 From their website:
"Customers cannot move to a lower tariff during this minimum term (see network terms and conditions). Moving to a higher tariff at any time during the minimum term does not invalidate the chequeback offer."
A long time ago it used to be the case that you could downgrade after 6 months but E2Save extended this period to cover the minimum term of the contract about a year or so ago.
Infact...I very much doubt that there is any retailer that now allows you to downgrade during the minimum term without forfeiting any remaining unpaid cahback.

Have you ever had trouble getting your cashback from Esave?
I'm a bit worried because I've just ordered 3 phones for the family from them but browsing this forum I've just seen that some folk had terrible problems claiming their money back.
I hoep this will turn out OK as I ordered the phones even though DH is very skeptical."Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

We all hope it will turn out OK but it pays to be skeptical. Most will probably be okay and will be wondering what all the fuss is about. However if you are one of the unlucky ones that is no consolation for losing your money. So you must be meticulous about following the terms and conditions, dont take anything for granted.npsmama wrote:Have you ever had trouble getting your cashback from Esave?
