Free Phone and Free 12 months Airtime - Hurry ends 9am!

E2Save have an offer where you can get a free phone for 12 months.

http://www.e2save.com

Here is an example of one of the offers (Motorola Pebl U6 Pink):

12 Months FREE on Canary £30

A credit of £111.00 will be raised automatically by cheque within 2 months if you do not cancel your contract. You will receive a text message when this credit has been successfully raised.

To gain the remainder of your line rental / cash back please send your 4th, 8th and 12th monthly bills within 30 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with £83.00 each time.

This will save you £360.00 over the 12 month duration of the contract. In effect this means that your average line rental per month over the contract period is £0.00 per month.

Just make sure you send in your airtime bills at the correct time and all will be well and you'll get everyting free for a year! I've been doing this for over 3 years now with no problems. Why pay for your mobile?

Remember to go through a cashback site if you wish!

This looks like a good stocking filler for Xmas. Does anyone know, apart from forgetting to send bills in whether there's any risk of losing money?
  • Well, if the phone is used for calls not covered by the free minutes you will still have to pay for them, or subscribing to expensive text messages, plus any content services through WAP.

You wouldn't really be losing money though, as you are actively making these expenses, just don't expect them to be refunded, other than that if you get them in on time its totally free (except cost of stamp, envelope and recorded delivery x 3)

You must send the bills that they request within the time periods specified.
You have to pay the airtime bills upfront but you will receive all your monay back in the end! As I stated I'm in my third year of doing this. I also sell the new mobile phones on Ebay and keep the old phones, making around £600 (4 phones). I've had no problems. They send you a text message to say that they have received the bill when you send it which is best sent by recorded post!

Just another question. I move house next week. Is it a good idea to take this deal up now or is it going to cause complications with the addresses being different?

Ring them before 9 (if they are open).
They are usually quick at delivering so you'll probably get it before you move.
After that it's just a matter of letting Orange know. People must move house all the time!

  • Don't just let orange know... tell E2Save as well so they don't send your cheque's to your old address.

Could include a cover note with your bills you send but they might not read it so best to phone and make them change it.

But it shouldn't be a problem, you should recieve the phone in time then 2 straightforward calls when you move.
  • To be honest I wouldn't do it. I would wait as the offer of free phones come round all the time, as the OP said they have been doing it for three years. o point rushing on this one to be honest. Grab it now! or Grab it next month!

PS, I have done this with Car Phone Warehouse in the past.

PPS. Reestit Mutton is the person to ask on these sort of things...
    here is his website...

I just bought it, it will then be stuck in a cupboard until Christmas. Shame about the wasted free minutes and insurance though... I may be tempted to get another contract next month.
