WhooWhooo, got a job interview lined-up for Thursday morning!! and thanks to my signing advisor, I found a new site for job-hunting. 'Indeed' searches all the usual sites and returns all the jobs that match your search criteria.
Used it, and found 2 jobs via sites I had never heard-of.
Total cc debt now down below £3k. Next target £2500.Never Knowingly Understood.

Good luck with the interview. Many thanks for the "Indeed" info. Hadn't heard of this but after a quick look, seems good. Will take further, more detailed look later.Growing old disgracefully!0

Phew, what a week. Interview went well, but when I worked-out the traveling costs I would be £20 a week worse-off than I was in my last job, which means £10 p/w less than I need to pay the bills.
Bought 3 MP3/4 players including an iPod Nano in an untested joblot from Ebay for £42 all-in, turns-out the Nano was a 4th Gen. 8Gb unit. Anyway, they all worked (surprisingly). The iPod sold as a 'BIN' for £69.99 and one of the other two has an opening bid of 99p with an end day of next Friday. The third MP4 player is so badly scratched that I will just pull the music from it and throw it in the bin.
I am now watching a few other joblots to buy and resell. If I can make a good profit, then I may do this as a business thus solving the problem of not having a job.
Just realized, only 1 month until I go see the eye surgeon, hopefully the op. will follow not soon after.
I reckon I need to loose at least 12Kgs to reduce the risks assocciated with general anesthetic.
My son's wood-framed canvas wardrobe decided to keel-over and die on Thursday, so I hatched a plan to shore it up until I have enough cash to replace it. My parents managed to scupper this by offering to buy a replacement. So today it was off to Homebase to purchase a metal-framed canvas wardrobe. My son surprised me by proceeding to take-apart the old wardrobe & assemble the new one. This was his first go at such a project, and I was impressed with the fact that he only asked for my advice twice. Only one problem, one of the shelves was to short, so tomorrow I will be back-off to Homebase to get it changed.
Glad my mention of 'Indeed' has helped someone else on the forums. Like LilyKim, it wasn't one I'd heard of until I went to sign-on and the adviser mentioned it.Never Knowingly Understood.

Seems I'm aiming for a weekly update on my DFD.
Been a busy run-in to the end of the week.
Sold 2nd MP3 player for £35.50, this works out at round about £30 after postage and fees.
Won a joblot of 3 digital cameras, these will sell really well as they are only missing silly little things like charger mains lead, USB lead and battery charger.
Had an appointment with my JC+ advisor on Friday, told her I was going to go S/E and she gave me loads of info on who I need to speak to, so that is next week taken-care of.
Downloaded 'MS Money' as it is now free (downloaded both 'Deluxe' and 'Home/business' versions. Spent today putting my accounts onto MS Money. Only got to add my Barclays accounts and it is job-done.
Tasks for this week -
Talk to ColBEA re s/e
Talk to AXA re how s/e will effect my PPI
Get in touch with Justink re faulty cart.Never Knowingly Understood.

Learned one thing about MS Money, never forget your password. 4 hours work down the drain.
Had to start all over again.
Nothing else to report this week other than the fact I have been having a bit of a problem with an ebayer.Never Knowingly Understood.

Got a shock when I went online to check my electricity bill, it now stands at over £400. I'd better phone-up next week and pay some of it off.
Got some info on obtaining a CSCS card, so need to phone about that.
Have now created a spreadsheet to automate the recording of my job search activities.Never Knowingly Understood.

Picked-up job Application form from RCCE for the position of 'Edible Essex Project Manager' I really want this job as it is something I truly believe in.
Tuesday -
Got a call from Agency with job interview for Friday.
Broadband is playing-up.
Wednesday -
Got a call from 2nd agency about putting my CV forward for job in Colchester.
B/B issues still present. Turns out my router is bust. £70 gone to replace it and get back online. Cheaper than driving into town to visit JC+ every day.

Interview went well. Got home from signing-on to find a message on answer phone from agency. Called them up and found that I have got the job, and start on the 11th April.
Slight problem. Opened my post (after speaking to Agency) and discovered I have a pre-op assessment on April 12th, so that will go down well with new employers not. They will be even less impressed when I tell them I then have an appointment for the actual op on the 28th April and as it is under general anesthetic, I will be out of action the next day as well. Still, at least my cataracts will be done in time to see at least one Col. Utd home game in completely clear focus.Never Knowingly Understood.

Just over a week until my new job begins and less than 26 days before my eye op. Up until now, I have tended to put a negative spin on everything as I suffered from low self-esteem (just like Katie Price does). However, having under-gone a 'Building Self Esteem' workshop, I now try to put a positive spin on my decisions.
Treated myself to a new pair of sunglasses from the catalogue (from commission), in preparation for when my cataract op has been done. Last year, I would have put-off such a purchase as I would have been convinced the op would fail.
One bad happening this week. My JSA has been sanctioned for not sending back some info they requested. I did point-out that had they sent the form, it would have been filled-in and returned pronto. DWP= Dept. of Worthless Prats.
Now relying on CTC + CB to buy the food. as for electric, b/b etc., they will just have to wait.
Good job I have finally made a profit on my Ebay trading + have £50 sitting in my PP account from surveys. I have however, spent the grand sum of £7.89 on 25 Duracell batteries for my camera as I sort of, volunteered to demonstrate to the Cubs how to photograph leaves as par of their 'Nature' badge.Never Knowingly Understood.
