Busy week this week.
Veg patch weeded (and anti-weed covering laid). Lettuces sown, car brakes fixed, Court papers returned, meshed over the strawberries & 3 jobs applied for.
Just need to find 'ends' for the mesh 'tunnel' over the strawberries. One of my black currant bushes has a small cluster of fruit on, this will need protecting from the birds.
Have had a slight bout of labrynthitus this week, so am on stemestil tablets again.
Need to get some gravel for the weed-barrier and garden is completed.Never Knowingly Understood.

Frustrating day today. Have been waiting for a phonecall all afternoon (when I could have been outside doing stuff).
On the plus side, took o/h to a hospital appt. and on the wall was a poster for the local NHS Trust's 'lose weight' program. Have now signed-up for it as I need some motivation to shift the bulk.
Also, bidding on a dehydrator on fleebay so I can keep food longer.
Found a printable voucher for Toby carvery today, so 2 of us will be having a 2 course dinner for £12.50 tonight (and drinking water to bee even more MSE).Never Knowingly Understood.

Keeping busy is the way to be.Trying to shift that debt!0

Keeping busy isn't a problem in my house. Keeping down the spending however, is.
Got a loan approved for the purchase of a (hopefully) better condition car than the one I bought back in Feb. (still waiting for a Court date). Have my eye on a nice Picasso 1.6 HDi Desire 2006 model. For once, I am actually not happy about paying out for something whereas in the past I would happily borrow as much as I could and waste most of it.
Am now sitting here listening to 'Nick Risby' on the radio. He is a good laugh, drinking a Mars milk & contemplating going to bed. Have spent most of this evening visiting mum in hospital, so that's another £3.00 forked-out in parking fees.
On the plus side, I managed to get a couple of things up on ebay so should see some cash come in this weekend. Sold a new gazebo last weekend so am £16 better-off ( or £1 better off if you factor-in the £15 I spent on a new LivingDeadSouls hoodie).Never Knowingly Understood.

Car is now purchased (well, deposit is paid). Spent wayyy more than I wanted to, but 5 year old cars with just 26k on the clock (FSH backs this up) don't come along very often.
Ebay turned into a farce. Had a phone up for £130 and with 2 hours to go, had no bids but did have 2 emails from people wanting to purchase it 'if you end it early'. So I did. End it early that is. I then relisted it the next day for £175 BIN and it sold within 24 hours.
Just leaves the car on ebay at £250 starting.
Must get my old Samsung phone up on ebay. It might be old, but it still works.Never Knowingly Understood.

Ive got some old phones to sell but they have cracked screens, may as well list them for the hell of it!Trying to shift that debt!0

SBO people will buy old phones for spare parts.
New car is now sitting on the driveway (I am still unsure if I have made the right decision though).
Old car failed to sell on fleebay, [STRIKE]so will think about whether or not to relist or take to live auction.[/STRIKE] Decided to relist with amendments & lowered reserve price.
Still, sold-on a smartphone I bought from my son for a nice profit & have just sold an old Galaxy Portal that I am now waiting on payment for.
Just leaves the van to clear out and prep for sale. I want to realize at least £1500 to try to clear one CC & reduce my outgoings.
Weighed myself prior to starting my NHS weight loss program in 2 weeks. Weigh in at 95.5 Kg (14St. 11Lbs in old money) aiming for 79 Kg.Never Knowingly Understood.
