Holiday going well. Sold some bits at the carboot & it didn't rain.

Just filled-up Berlingo & added fill-up to Fuelly.com. Average mpg has gone up since first 2 fills & is now above 60 mpg.

Passed CSCS test, just go to find £30 for the card.

Got first payout from Hubpages. Add to this, £30 from TCB & quite a good week.
Only marred by my Agency forgetting I was on holiday, so they did not pay me until I chased them and then only part of the amount.

Not much to report on the money front since my last update. only that I have had the chance of overtime at work so will be able to reduce my overdraft by nearly £30 a week.

Car is running well. However, I will not be using supermarket fuel again after my mpg dropped by 5 mpg in comparison with branded fuel.

Biggest shock of the month was finding-out my BiL has been collecting child !!!!!! on his PC.
His actions have placed his family at risk from the local vigilanties.
I really can't believe how dense someone can be to do something like this.

I have, of course, decided to ban him from my house & will not be speaking to him ever again. His sister (my o/h) has enough on her plate without her brother bringing more stress to her life.

His wife hasn't been able to sleep since finding-out and is now trying to move to another area.

Can't believe it's been so long since my last update. Been a busy couple of weeks at work due to being short-staffed at work. Even had to do a 5a.m. start this week due to end of financial year audit.

1 week to go before I start my weight loss program at ACE.
Got some lose change to bank up today, so more added to the emergency fund pot.

Nearly a week since my last diary update.
Had PMP today & still no chance of a permanent contract. Still, at least I get paid o/t as a contractor.

1 day to go before my weight loss program begins. Hope to lose 20Kg and get a bit fitter.

Oops, forgot to mention that the Court case went ahead on 4th Oct. I forgot about it & the Judge struck it out. I am going to have to fill in form N244 & pay another £80 to get this set aside & a new date issued.

My OH actually ate the piece of paper with her bro's phone number on it. But not until after phoning her SiL to have a go at her & ending up ripping our niece's head off instead.

Had to make her phone back up and apologise.

Had quite a week. My son phoned on Tuesday and asked whether he had left his mobile at ours as he couldn't find it.
Both me and MrsP searched the cabinet on which we thought it had been placed, but without any luck. Roll forward to Wednesday and our son turns-up, goes to the same cabinet and within 2 minutes had located the phone.

Work has been a bit stressy. Whilst he was out of the office I noticed he had deliberately left an email up on his PC. In it he basically accused me of being incompetent because I had recorded some test results manually & then scanned them onto the system & attached them to a report.
That's rich considering he was over-heard telling another team member that it was OK to not measure critical to function dimensions that are hard to measure when undertaking a first article inspection. He has also attached measurement data in which the drawing called for the dimension to be measured in 2 places, so has only done it in 1 place.

I now more determined than ever to get a job elsewhere so I can leave him in the pooh.

Add to this, the fact that the company is planning to change it's working pattern and there is a lot of bad feelings going round .

They say it pays to check and they are right.

Checked my Sky phone bill as it seemed rather high and discovered that they were charging me for 0845 calls (I'm on 'Anytime' so these are free). Contacted c/s via their livechat system & within 8 minutes they had investigated my query and raised a ticket to credit my account for all the calls they have charged me for. A grand total of just over £38.00.

Not bad for less than 10 minutes work.

    It certainly pays to complain.

My oh took a kettle back to Tesco as it had failed under warranty. It took 20 minutes for someone to turn up and deal with her. After she got her money back she then went and complained about the wait and got a bottle of Aspells cider (her choice) as an apology.
