of course... least i am not coming back to the UK with baby in tow claiming everything i can - i am currently seeking rental accommodation which i will pay for, but i may need help along the way. hopefully i will be accepted - not to just get the cash but to get the advice & support i may need.

You may be entitled to some help, but not straight away. If renting you will need a deposit and months rent up front to get a house. Then once you have one you apply for help with the rent.

i have enough to get back with the dogs (driving - less expensive) & rent for a month or so...

You need to be aware that, as you are under 25, you will only get LHA to cover the cost of a room in shared accommodation.

thats silly, i can get a terrace house rental that is the same price as a house share...

You don't have to live in a house share, but you will only be paid what the council consider the shared house rate.

You may find landlords are less than keen to take you on with 2 dogs.
Do you have any family who might take the dogs?
