Help needed with MSIMG32.dll

are they the only 2 on the machine, if you right click and do properties, there should be a version in there

which directory are they in

They have different dates, if you've downloaded this and copied to c:\windows\system32 they should be the same

do you mean the date of downloaded 1 should be the same date as original 1

c:\program files\internet explorer\MSIMG32.dll dd/mm/yy hh:mm version n.n.nnnn.nnnn


for all copies of them

also post whether you have 64 bit or 32 bit vista, by right clicking on my computer, then properties.

cut the one in the internet explorer folder and paste onto desktop, then try internet explorer.

if that doesn't work, delete the one in the internet explorer folder.
