Found the car keys! :j
My ex once locked her keys in her car while at work. I couldn't find the spares despite turning the house upside down. The AA man was called out, and got into the car in 2 or 3 minutes flat, so all was well, even if I was somewhat harassed. A few days later, a relative came to stay and at breakfast, was rather puzzled by the fact that while pouring his cornflakes from the box into the bowl, a set of car keys plopped into his bowl. The spare keys.
We'd been on holiday a month or two before and she'd decided to put the keys somewhere really safe. Apparently, it's easy to forget putting keys in a box of cereal.

Lost my car keys the other day and spent ages looking. Was running late for work, so had to jump in the other car.
OH phoned later to say he'd found them in the microwave.....0 -
I think sometimes keys are like socks.
You put a pair of socks in the washing machine and the sock fairy pinches one.
There must be a key elf that keeps moving keys around.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

No, the sock fairy doesnt pinch the socks, they metamorphise into the metal coat hangers you find in your wardrobe but never bought.0

my husband was driving my car last year, he parked outside on the road as normal but next morning couldn't find the key which is actually a credit card thing you put in a slot on the dash then press the start button so he took his car instead leaving me car less and to work from home, keycard never showed up that day despite checking everywhere so the next day he took his car and I worked from home again still no sign of the keycard after checking the obvious places and not so obvious like washing machine. We decided to tear house apart over the weekend to find where it was while the car sat outside unable to move. Saturday no joy nor sunday, Sunday afternoon I decided to use the spare key which will open the lock but not start the car to retrieve the owners manual and see if there was some sort of code to give to the dealer to get a new card made only to reach the car and discover not only was it unlocked but the card was in the ignition slot.
Just shows how quiet the area is, card was unlocked with keys in the ignition from Wednesday at about 4pm until Sunday tea time.
A few weeks later he walked away from his car in Tesco car park and left keys in the car door, I noticed them, took them and then after a full weeks shopping let him scrabble about emotying his pockets for about 10 minutes looking for his keys.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000
