I pop out to a free cinema viewing, and in the time I've been gone.....this thread was started, and now all the free cruises are gone ! :rolleyes:

thanks to op,anyone goin with me and other halfon 6th feb,they used to run a bus to/from newcastle centre as its quite a few miles

Aha! I see why the've done this now.

DFDS have just bought MS Fjord Norway from Fjord ferries (the current operator of this route). It is being taken out of service on 16th October for a refit and will become DFDS <not been named yet> and go back into service on the same route from 17th November.

So, they're giving away some trips to boost interest in the route! The next batch of 2000 are £50 per person.

I'm booked for the first Tuesday crossing on 14th November, so I'll let you know how I get on!

I booked a cabin on upper deck with a double bed and sea views and from the site info its got tv, fridge, wc,shower and tea coffee facilities.

Can NOT Wait!
