afternoon everyone
its pouring rain here!
wilf more (((hugs))) good luck with your ebay - you are always a whizz at getting loads on and it will help with the decluttering - get someone to help you maybe make a day of it today and tomorrow and see what kind of progress that gives? hope youfeel less down now.
Dontknowanymore welcome to the thread - I will send you a pm shortly - I am sure your nan will always be in your heart.
Aunty Crafty I do a big online shopping once a month from MrA and there is only me! I then only need a little top up evry 10 - 14 days - saves money - i get an afternoon delivery £3 and usually any offers covers the delivery. I am not so tempted to buy extras.
Hex and pooh IMHO I think you let these 'men' away with far too much - you need to be stricter so that they will make good husbands for someone :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
holly great - that sounds very :money::T
pooh maybe DH is right that you should sit and relax - why dont you clear a corner for you! like around your favourite chair and then sit and do some reading or sewing or just crack the whip! xx
stripped the bed when i got up and its been washed but will have to hang up in the house
have been to church - was our Patron's Day and we had a bring and share lunch but someone upset me so I came home - I was really looking forward to the food and I had cleared out my fridge and donated it as well:( never mind its not important in the grand scheme of things and I probably wouldnt have batted an eyelid if I had been on top form.
anyway will go and crack on getting things done - catch you later for the new thread
get well wishes to all the poorlies and those with the aches and pains
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

many thanks for the gpig hugs and well wishes. Despite being as cheerful and chirpy as always Charlie has gone to gpig heaven. With the weight of his growth on the side of his head/upper body he was simply in a constant state of 'topple'. Thurs and Fr I had to groom/wash him as he was dragging his waste around with him as he moved. It really was his time to go. Lucky old pig had a lovely life, good food (my homegrown organic carrots being his fav), lots of cuddles and indoor cage for winter/spring/autumn. The sitting room does seem exceptionally quiet in the mornings now without his familiar chat to say 'good morning ...and where's my carrot' :rotfl:
Just hope someones there for me when i get like that as old age approaches.0 -
Hugs for toots - sorry you had to miss your lunch - hope the person who upset you gets tummy ache.
Please tell me you do have something in that you can eat though?
Well the cream part of the posset is cooling down, and I've juiced and zested the lemon so it's all ready to go. Have eaten lunch and hung out a load of washing on the line, as well as putting a new load in. Am keeping an eye on the weather though, as the grey clouds are looking ominous, but I'm determined to let the sheets blow on the line for as long as possible whilst we still are able to. It's quite windy, so hopefully this will help them to dry quickly. My lunch for tomorrow is packed and in the fridge, so when I've finished off the lemon posset, I think that'll be the main tasks for today finished. *trots off to find my list I made this morning in case it's not* - ETA Found list - I still need to do a 27 fling boogie - think I'll wait til I've finished the posset, and stopped hiccuping too.
Hugs for anyone else who wants one.

on a brighter note, anyone know where in the fred i will find the recipe for apple sauce (or was it last weeks fred .... or was it a different fred altogether ...:undecided) thanks. have frozen 5 batches of grated apple, 5 batches of sliced apple, now ready to use last lot up with apple sauce.
Big ((((hug)))) and silver spoons for those in need, not had chance to catch up on whole fred as I've got 2 days of flying to catch up on.0 -
Hugs toots, I hope you enjoyed the lunch before you were upset by that silly person. Or have you nothing to eat now? I hope the rest of the day is better for you.
2 men have been decluttered to the pub and the others haven't emerged yet. I want one to drive me to my friend's to feed her hens. Since her passing I have been worried about them. I know there is plenty to forage on at this time of year but I just want to see they are okay.
Is it right to be hoping my sons will make good husbands for someone very soon!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Once I have done that I will sit and do some rag rug making as recommended by Toots, thank you. The dinner is in the slow cooker so nothing left to do there.
DK I have been very aware of not moaning about something that can't be changed too. Usually doing something else to take my mind off it helps.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Reporting back for duty!
DH and I had a lovely time in Scarborough - set off around 11.40 yesterday morning and back by 1.30 today. DH enjoyed catching up with old friends and we had a nice surprise, too. A couple who live close to us and who we've been trying to trace for ages were there unexpectedly. Cue [STRIKE]a very late night[/STRIKE] an early morning and the consumption of one or two more drinks than planned.Never mind - breakfast at the travelodge is on until eleven and we managed to be down for ten. I normally really suffer the day after the night before, but I'm not too bad this time.
DS1 coped very well looking after his brother and the house wasn't much worse compared to when we left. :T
The weather isn't great here and I've decided not to bother with the plant fair. I've already got a plan for tea so the list for the rest of the day is:
update budget and maybe check the coop for reduced stuff
more laundry (at least two loads)
DW
unpack bag from weekend
sort/iron clothes for tomorrow
HW with DS2 and sort his school bag
plan my Y10 lesson for tomorrow
put our bed back together and maybe start researching a new mattressand a mattress protector!!! (must also speak to person responsible about possible cause, as it wasn't DS2
)
have an early night to be ready for [STRIKE]grilling [/STRIKE] constructive meeting with management tomorrow, so please shout at me if you see a green light after 10pm tonight!
Hugs and vibes as needed and welcome to all newcomers - I don't think I've got time to catch up with the thread or I'll get nothing done. I'll come back to update my list in a while. Have a good Sunday, everyone. xxx0 -
Laptop fixing not going well so off to the techie board as I'm out of my depth now.
