Sorry, I meant Ad-aware had issues with Avast so I removed Avast while Ad-aware was doing its thing. Think I'm just gonna go with a full reformat and reinstall - could probably be doing with it after a year anyway

Pleasure - sorry I couldn't sort this out. Don't forget to copy important data to something else. Once it's fully reformatted I would advise installing malwarebytes and avira.0

Ah, no worries. Generally I can sort these things myself but this one had me stumped (this is the first time I've ended up with something really nasty!)
Preferable just to reinstall than waste loads of time chasing something tricky! I've always stuck with Avast but I'll give Avira a go and see how we go. Cheers again 0 -
