Ah yes, that might be prescient info. A few weeks ago I discovered Relevant Knowledge on my system, but it looked to be pretty much cleared out.

Do you not have an antivirus on your computer? (Well the answer I can see is no - we shall deal with that after malwarebytes has done the full scan).

Ah, the removal of av was done to prevent conflicts with spyware removal. Had been running Avast till immediately prior.

Online scanner is an ESET online scanner I ran to see if it would pick up anything else. Same with the Norton one (missed that as I was scan-reading for 'Norton')

Taken 15 minutes for 42k items, so looks like it'll be another long scan.

I am deeply confused - your computer is relatively new I presume with a windows 7 on it (unless it's an upgrade). I guess continue running the full scan for now. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on these matters will be here to help!

Also, what program required you to remove avast? I wouldn't have done so personally.

Ad-aware had a bit of a huff about it. Disabled it but Ad-aware continued to have related issues so removed completely. Not using the machine much at the moment so wasn't a massive issue. May just be easier to go for a full reformat and reinstall - not the end of the world

Lavasoft is still on your computer... I hear it's not great at the moment.

Usually malwarebytes and avira (or avast but no personal opinions on it as I've never used it) is sufficient.
