Ken,
This thread is not about Big company vs Small company. If you want to debate that then I suggest you start a separate thread and voice your opinions there.
This thread is about the original poster asking whether the deal he has been offered is ok given his circumstances. If you have anythin of value relating directly to the thread topic then fine, if not I would suggest something along the lines of your own thread to raise your debate.0 -
I am reiterating what is in the Money Diet book, are you stating that the book is not good advice? Have you read the book?
I am being attacked for giving links to reputable companies and you have failed to answer my question ,would you endorse those who post on this site.
Please show a link to a post from one of the named companies that is in a post on this forum ,from that company posting. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -
HelpwhereIcan who is a broker ,received a personal Thank's from Martin for his realistic and sensible approach to my concerns, would you like a link to that postTo be happy you need to make someone happy.0

Ken,
I am not being drawn into a debate with you on this. Your argument is inconclusive and factually incorrect.
For the sake of the original poster I am not persuing this here.
Re the above post, Martin also closed a thread which you had completely trashed. This one is heading the same way.
Start your own thread to raise your issues. DO not invade the threads of others citing the same argument.0 -

I feel that it is in the interests of users to be alerted to those who might use this site for personal gainTo be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -
Therefore, a more accurate way to interpret the advice could be to say "get advice from a couple of places, but always place your mortgage through a fees free broker. L&C if you are happy dealing remotely, a local firm if you want face to face advice with more of a personal touch"
The above is a paragraph from helpwhereIcan's post, just a taster if you want to read full post use this link#20To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -

Kenshaz is quoting the advice that Martin gives in his book as well as in
Sneakily get the best advice for free plus possible extra cashback. We have all debated this many, many times before, not least in one of the very first threads I contributed to; but Martin's advice still stands.
