Thanks, Have ordered a couple they will be perfect for my car, and also perfect to interfere with my neighbours loud radio station that they like to boom out, wonder if I can transmit my voice over the frequency and scare them!!! Only kidding before the thought police arrive!

This months Computer Buyer magazine has reviews of FM transmitters, and I believe the one you are talking about on here is reviewed.

Fortunately, the legal situation looks set to change before long and communications regulator Ofcom has already outlined plans to legalise FM transmitters by the end of the year - but this won't legalise the transmitters already in use. To be legal for use in the UK, FM transmitters will need to carry CE approval and if you use a transmitter without a CE mark - even after they've been legalised - you'll still be breaking the law.
