Samsung SGH-X640 DownloadinG Ring Tones

Hi,

I have a Samsung SGH-X640 which I am trying to load a ringtone to.

The ringtone has been sent (both WAP and MMS), but when trying to load onto the phone, it keeps giving a message "Network Unavailable".

I have been to the Samsung site and had the MMS and WAP settings sent to my phone.

However, the "Network Unavailable" message still comes up.

Any ideas for this techno-clueless idiot!!

I had this problem on Orange with my Samsung D900 who had forgotten to enable the WAP facility on my account when it was set-up. I phoned up their Customer Services team and they fixed it within 30 minutes by sending an MMS to my mobile with some update settings. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that info. However, I have had the MMS sent to the phone, but it still won't let me load the ringtone. Any ideas as to what to do next???

So had I, there are apparently separate settings for WAP which also need to be enabled and an adjustment made to your account at Orange - can you access the internet OK?

Sorry - forgot to mention it's on O2. Have also had the WAP settings sent to the phone and no joy as yet.

Have tried downloading from O2, but still no joy. Looks like it's back to the shop!!!
