Ordered sky today and just got 1/2 price code...help!

Hi, I followed the link after getting the code but it does cause an error, but going back to the homepage/Sky buy page and entering the code on the right works. This generates a free code, which is probably where the ebay gang are getting their codes from and charging you for it (or they work for Sky as they offer them to friends and family)!

I was skeptical as well, as it is aimed at Sky Partners, but this offer was available last Christmas, March and May time which a lot of people took up (so if Sky wanted to prevent it, they know about it and could!), plus Best Buy had a similar offer when they launched in June so Sky have offered similar offers to the general public as well. All people taking it up seemed to report success (search on MSE and HotUKDeals) and some managed to get Quidco and M&S vouchers as well (but that is no way guaranteed!).

I am seriously considering, but if Virgin could give a better deal I may stay put as that would save hassle.

Best to be honest unless you didn't put a genuine company name? There is nothing on the landing page to suggest that you need to work for any particular company (though T&Cs suggest otherwise!).

I was one of the posters on the 'disappearing topic' that was on these forums and managed to sign up using the same process as you all have. I did this on saturday and since then have received an email of confirmation telling me "We just need to confirm some details with you before we can proceed with your order. One of our agents will contact you shortly to discuss your order with you". This call has so far not come and yesterday I got another email telling me that my sky order has been successfully processed but my requested install date was unavailable. A new one has been scheduled.

My question is, should I still expect a call or do you reckon they won't be phoning me now?
