You have a caravan that you can't use for 5 months a year? So you're paying £71 a month ground rent on it? Did you buy the caravan out right or is that included in your debt totals?
Couldn't you get a nice weekend away a month for 71 quid and not keep the van?0 -
Or better still move the caravan on an all year bigger site when they will do all the renting for youYung

hey noggin
Do i take it you have all your eggs in one basket financially? That makes it such a hard situation for you and i really sympathise with you.
If you have the option speak to cccs about the unsecured element of your debt in order to prevent defaulting on a priority debt.
Get quidco ing asap and put any DVD's you've not watched in over 6 months onto amazon.
It sounds to me you need to raise some money quickly and although it may hurt, perhaps ditching the caravan to release some funds may be an idea. you can then get one again later when your finances are back in place.
Try not to cave in to the banks idea to quickly. re-iterate to them over and over that you cannot afford what they are proposing right now but are more than happy to sort the situation out with their help.
Best of luck to you noggin. I'm glad your post has got back on track and keep us updated.
