I don't want to get into a row with you coz it's not fair on the OP's thread.

However, I didn't find yungs post rude or offensive. Thats why I didn't report it and probably why it hasn't been removed. I did find it totally unhelpful and not in the spirit of this board. Hence why I pointed it out with a sarcastic as opposed to rude or abusive post.

why was this post necessary i guess it the way i felt this place has changed when i first come on here people spoke there minds and there was a respect for the honest warm replys what people got now its getting to the point of if your honesty is a bit contraversel you cant be honest and you cant say what you think cause if you do people will pull you up on this

There needs to be an element of tact involved in replies. When I first joined this site there always was. It seems recently there isn't. There are too many blunt and in my opinion rude replies going on. Hence why Martin found it necessary to post an attention sticky to the top of this board. He never found it necessary to do so prior to all this crappiness!

i do think that people on here should be allowed to speak what they feel and if it is really nasty and uncalled for like the board guides deal with it

Well we're gonna have to agree to disagree here. I respect your opinion but if I was subjected to some of the posts I've read recently (not this thread btw) when I first joined I dare say I wouldn't have bothered coming back. What right do any of us have to make other people feel like that when they are at their most vunerable? And like I said before, this isn't a free speach forum. There are limits and rightly so.

have you tryed speaking to them at all they may be willing to let you pay double next month my mortage company let me do it once as i said there was a problem with my wages they wouldnt get paid in in time and they said it was fine didnt even get a late charge worth a try i guess

its ok earwig at least its sorted. sometimes its hard to tell how a person is trying to put something across when its just in writting on a screen :rotfl:
weve managed to talk the bank into delaying our mortgage payment from 1st october until 28th october so by then i will have been paid twice (usually get paid once the day before the mort is due but this month ill end up with 2 pays before mort comes out :j ) obviously were chuffed because my wages (approx £490) will now come off the overdraft this month and next month my wages will be for the mort as usual. so were looking like were going to be okay by the next time the mort comes out.

only brought the caravn this summer so really dont want to be thinking of seeling it. renting to family/friends could be an option but the site is closed end oct-end march but its def an option for next smmer though for a bit of extra income. (the site doesnt let you rent it to strangers as they have their own vans to rent...crafty eh?)
